Our Founder

Sami Armstrong is the Founder / Executive Director of Changing Paths, a Community Based Non-Profit Organization out of New Jersey with a Mission to Uplift and Empower our youth, while encouraging them to break the cycle of Negative Behaviors. Born and raised in the city of Newark, N.J. Sami didn't allow himself while growing up in a poverty stricken environment to alter his passion for assisting our youth of today. Sami grew tired of seeing the same repeated cycle of Death or Jalil when it comes to the youths' choice of paths. Therefore, in 2016 Changing Paths was established to break that repeated cycle and provide opportunities so that the youth would have an opportunity at becoming productive individuals in society.
